apricotfromnara asked: it keeps astonishing me how your arguments are always bible quotes. you're a human being who's capable of having individual thoughts and who questions everything (or is supposed to, at least); unlike every other creature. how can you answer every single question with something someone wrote down hundreds of years ago? that can't be it.
It keeps astonishing me how your arguments not only don’t have bible quotes but have zero quotes.
So far all of my bible quotes hold true. And here’s another that backs up what I said about early civilizations worshipping creation (which history agrees with): “They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised.” Romans 1:25
So either you start refuting my bible verses as false, which you can’t do, or perhaps start backing up your empty claims with science, history, or anything else reliable. I hope you agree, looking back on it, that it’s quite silly to get into an argument and not back anything up with proof. And you say human beings are unlike every other creature in that we can question. Please explain how in atheism that is possible if we all evolved from the same thing. You have a Christian idea. Are you a closet theist?
And I like that you ask me how I can answer “every single question with someone someone wrote down hundreds of years ago.” It proves that not only have you never read the New or Old Testament but you are letting other people tell you what is and isn’t in them. I actually can answer most likely any question you have with something from the Bible. Try me.
And there is a website that does the same: http://www.gotquestions.com
Again, you are putting the burden of proof on me while not even mentioning all the unanswered questions I raised about atheism. Feel free to answer them.
